Heart of Lions bounced back at the 2025 GHALCA Top 4 with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko on Friday afternoon.
After losing to Hearts of Oak in their opener, Lions showed resilience as Paul Atta Agyei’s first-half strike proved decisive in Kpando.
Kotoko, who also came into the game on the back of defeat to Bibiani Gold Stars, pressed hard in the second half but could not break down the Lions’ defense.
The result leaves Kotoko winless ahead of Sunday’s clash with rivals Hearts of Oak, while Lions will face Gold Stars in their final group match.
