Ghana Premier league side, Heart of Lions has appointed Bashiru Hayford as new head coach, following the departure of Coach Salifu Fatawu.
Bashiru inked a contract which will see him with the club till the end of the season with an option of extension.
Fatawu faced the sack due to a run of poor results after 13 games in the Ghana top flight league.
Bashiru who is a Premier League winner is expected to help the returnees avoid the drop zone.
They have accumulated eight points and are at the bottom of the League standings.
