Hasaacas Ladies have been drawn into a challenging Group B for the 2024 WAFU Zone B Women’s Champions League qualifiers.
The team, which returns to the continental competition after a two-year absence, will face Nigerian champions Edo Queens, AS Grade Nationale from Niger, and Burkinabe side Ominisports Entichele.
The qualifiers will take place from August 10-23, 2024.
Despite the absence of head coach Yussif Basigi, who is currently with the Black Princesses preparing for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, the team aims to prove themselves in Cote D’Ivoire and secure a spot in the main competition.
Hasaacas Ladies made history as the first Ghanaian club to participate in the CAF Women’s Champions League in 2021, reaching the final before losing to Sundowns Ladies from South Africa.
