Greater Accra Regional Minister Linda Ocloo has promised GHC20,000 to Hearts of Oak as a morale booster ahead of their showdown with Asante Kotoko.
The two Ghanaian giants will clash on Sunday, July 6, in the 2025 President’s Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The annual fixture is held in honour of the sitting President of Ghana, with this year’s edition celebrating H.E.
John Dramani Mahama.
“This GHC20,000 is to motivate you and show that Greater Accra stands behind you in this big game,” Linda said.
Hearts of Oak are aiming to lift the trophy and gain early bragging rights ahead of the new season.
Kotoko, however, are equally poised to spoil the party in what promises to be a high-stakes encounter.
