Great Olympics midfielder Agyemang Badu identifies Asante Kotoko’s deficiency after stalemate

Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has identified Asante Kotoko’s deficiency after stalemate in the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors are yet to live up to expectation in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign despite being third on the league log.

The record Ghana Premier League holders were held to a 1-1 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

They currently sit third on the league log with 19 points after 11 matches into the campaign.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, the former Black Stars midfielder asserted Kotoko’s defense is a bit shaky and has therefore called on the club to augment their squad if they really want to win the league title.

“Let’s be fact and be frank, they possess the ball very well but their defense is a bit shaky, their midfield is not bad but they need an experienced player to join Agadas. They should work on the attack because Mukwala cannot do all the runs.

They have a solid team but if they are serious about winning the league, they need to beef up the team.” He said.

Agyemang Badu featured for Kotoko before departing for greener pastures.
