Bibiani GoldStars head coach Frimpong Manso has revealed that his side needs to sign more players as he prepares the Golden Boys for their debut CAF Champions League campaign.
After clinching their first Ghana Premier League title, GoldStars will compete at the continental level, and Manso believes strengthening the team is crucial.
“We need to add to the squad because that is another level,” Manso stated on Globe TV.
“At every level, you need to add. We will see the kind of quality we want, whether experienced or youth.”
Manso has a draft list of targeted players, and recruitment will be key as GoldStars aim to emulate Medeama SC’s success in reaching the group stage.
The coach’s priority is to ensure his team is well-prepared for the rigors of CAF competition.
