Bibiani Gold Stars secured their place in the next round of the MTN FA Cup after grinding out a 1–0 win over Basake Holy Stars.
The Miners had to withstand long periods of pressure but found the breakthrough through former Basake forward Emmanuel Agyei, who kept his composure to score the decisive goal and silence the home fans.
Agyei delivered a complete performance ; linking play, pressing aggressively, and leading the attack ; earning him the Man of the Match award and reaffirming his growing influence in the Gold Stars setup.
Gold Stars now turn their attention to the Ghana Premier League, where they face a difficult trip to 7th-placed Samartex on December 7.
Basake Holy Stars will look to bounce back on the same day when they take on Aduana FC.
