Gold Stars coach Michael Osei not dreaming of winning GPL despite breaking into top 4

The head coach of Bibiani Gold Stars, Coach Michael Osei has refused to target the Ghana Premier League title although his team is now 3rd on the league table.

The team from Bibiani held Berekum Chelsea to a goalless draw on Saturday afternoon in a matchday 10 clash of the ongoing league season.

After picking a point from that game, Gold Stars broke into the top four and are just two points behind Aduana Stars who are top of the league table.

Speaking in a post-match interview after the game against Berekum Chelsea, Coach Michael Osei said he only wants his team to do better than last season and finish above the 9th position.

”I am expecting to do better than last season. We were in the 9th position.”

”Any position in front of the 9th position will be fine,” Coach Michael Osei said.

Up next for Bibiani Gold Stars in the Ghana Premier League, the team will face off with Aduana Stars.

The team will hope to secure a win in that home match.
