Ghanaian goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi kept clean sheet and grabbed Most Valuable Player Award for St. Gallen in their 2-0 win against Polish side FK Slask in the Europa Conference League play-off.
Chadrac Akolo and Willem Geubbels scored in the first half to seal the victory for St. Gallen in the first leg of the encounter.
Ati-Zigi made valuable interventions to keep the scoreline intact and ultimately the win.
St. Gallen will be aiming to secure group stages qualification as they travel to Poland for the return fixture on Tuesday.
