Reigning Ghana Premier League champions Samatex FC have extended the contract of goalkeeper, Kofi Baah, until 2026.
The contract extension comes as a testament to Baah’s outstanding performance in the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season, where he kept 14 clean sheets in 28 matches.
Baah, who was recently honored as the Best Goalkeeper of the 2023/24 season at the Ghana Football Awards, expressed his delight at extending his stay with Samatex FC.
“I am happy to extend my stay with FC Samartex 1996 until 2026. The constructive discussions with the Management affirmed that I am at home to build my career and also support the project of the team to an appreciable stage.” he added.
The goalkeeper’s contract extension is a significant boost to Samatex FC’s preparations for their CAF Champions League campaign, which begins with a preliminary match against Victoria United.
