Goalkeeper Ati-Zigi keeps clean sheet for St. Gallen against Trabzonspor

Goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi kept a clean sheet for St. Gallen in a goalless draw against Trabzonspor in the Europa Conference League play-off.

The Black Stars shot-stopper manned the posts for the entire duration and was rated 7.6 by the sports website Sofascore after the game at the Kybunpark in Switzerland.

The first 15 minutes were particularly busy for him, as he made crucial saves to prevent his team from conceding.

In the second half, Zigi continued his excellent form, making three dangerous saves for the Greens and Whites on Thursday night.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper has kept five clean sheets in nine appearances across all competitions in the ongoing 2024/25 season.

The return fixture will determine which team qualifies for the group stage of the continental competition, as St. Gallen travels to face Trabzonspor at the Papara Park in Turkey next week.
