Medeama SC Goalkeeper Appiah Kubi has been named NASCO Man of the Match in a Ghana Premier League match day six fixture against Nations FC on Wednesday.

The goaltender played a vital role in the game as the Mauves and Yellow lads defeat newly promoted side Nations FC 1-0 at the Akoon Park with the goal from Mamudu Kamaradin.

Kubi impressed with a number of saves to keep the scoreline intact for the Tarkwa-based side.

The victory is Medeama FC first home win in the ongoing 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League campaign.

They are now out of the relegation zone zone to the 11th position with 7 points.

Medeama SC will host Nsoatreman FC in their next outstanding week five fixture at the Tarkwa Akoon Park.
