Ghanasoccernet editor Patrick Akoto gets GFA appointment to chair Ghana has Talent Committee

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has named Ghanasoccernet editor Patrick Akoto as chairman of the Ghana has Talent Committee.

The appointment has been announced by the Ghana FA today in an official communique today.

“Director of Communications for Medeama SC Patrick Akoto has been put in charge of the Ghana has Talent Committee.

“Patrick Akoto has 15-years’ experience in football administration, specifically in media management and communications. He previously worked with Choice FM and Rite Multimedia before becoming the editor of ghanasoccernet. He is a product of Accra Academy and the Ghana Institute of Journalism,” the GFA statement said.

Meanwhile, the General Manager of PAC Academy, Stephen Appiah has been named to serve as Vice Chairman of the Committee.

The Ghana Has Talent Committee will be responsible for the planning and organization of the national Division Two Super Cup that will bring together the best Division Two clubs across the regions to compete on one platform.

The competition will also serve as a preparatory ground for champions of the regional Division Two Leagues to prepare for the Access Bank Division One League.
