Ghana’s Majeed Ashimeru signs contract extension with Anderlecht

Ghana’s Majeed Ashimeru has signed a two-year contract extension with Anderlecht.

The deal will see him stay with the Belgium-based side until 2027 with his initial contract expiring in a year.

Ashimeru made 12 appearances in all competitons last season, having been on the sidelines for the majority of the campaign.

“In the last three seasons at RSCA, I have grown as a player and as a person,” he told the club’s media.

“I’m very grateful to both the club and the fans for their continued support over the past years. They have come to know me as a player, but I have the feeling I have more to give back.”

The 26-year-old remains determined to impress as they prepare for the upcoming season.
