Footballghana can report that Spanish club Real Oviedo is in talks to extend the contract of Ghanaian forward Samuel Obeng.
The striker joined Real Oviedo from Calahorra in 2019 and has since fought to become a top star for the team.
Last season, Samuel Obeng was unstoppable for his team in the Spanish Segunda division.
In what many are describing as the best campaign for the Ghanaian forward, he scored eight goals and provided one assist after making 34 appearances in the Spanish La Liga 2.
Impressed with the performance of the player, Real Oviedo officials have opened talks to tie down the player to a new contract.
From the information gathered from sources, the club has offered Samuel Obeng a deal that will see him staying at the club until 2025.
His current contract has a termination clause of five million euro and will expire in 2023.
