Black Stars goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi finished the Conference League season as the third best goalkeeper, with respect to saves.

The St. Gallen shot-stopper made 33 saves in the Conference League for the Swiss outfit.

Only Slawomir Abramowicz (36) and Chelsea’s Filip Jorgensen (40) managed more than Ati Zigi (33).

Comparatively, Ati Zigi’s numbers make for good reading, given his side failed to advance past the league phase of the competition.

St. Gallen finished the Conference League league phase in 29th place with a mere five points from six games.

Despite Ati Zigi’s best efforts to earn his side a respectable finish, they fell short.

St. Gallen conceded 18 goals across six games, an indication of the team’s brittle nature.

Ati Zigi is currently in camp with the Black Stars, who prepare to take on Trinidad and Tobago in the 3rd place playoff of the Unity Cup after losing to Nigeria 2-1.

Ati Zigi was an unused substitute for Ghana in the game against Nigeria but will be looking to return in goal against Trinidad and Tobago
