England-born Ghanaian forward Brandon Thomas-Asante was named man of the match on his West Bromwich Albion debut on Friday in their home draw.
Thomas-Asante climbed off the bench to salvage a point for West Brom as they rallied from behind to draw 1-1 with Burnley in the English Championship.
The 23-year-old who joined the Baggies on the transfer deadline day from Salford scored in stoppage time to help West Brom earn a point from the game.
Burnley took the lead in the round 8 fixture through Jay Rodriguez who converted a penalty kick in the 30th minute at The Hawthorns.
Thomas-Asante was brought on in the 70th minute to make his first bow for Steve Bruce’s side when he replaced Kyle Bartley.
He scored in the additional minutes of the match to draw the Baggies level and when ahead to claim the man of the match accolade.
