Ghanaian defender Kingsley Gyamfi is set to visit Degerfors IF in the coming days, ahead of a potential loan deal between the Swedish sides.

The 20-year-old, who currently belongs to Hammarby IF, is making the trip to familiarize himself with Degerfors IF and train with the team.

Gyamfi joined Hammarby in 2022 from MSK Zilina Africa FC, a club based in Accra, Ghana. Since his arrival, he has primarily played for Hammarby’s P19 team and HTFF in Ettan Norra. In 2023, he showcased his talent with an impressive 27 appearances out of 30 games in Ettan Norra. His performance earned him a promotion to Hammarby’s first team in January.

The visit to Degerfors IF could be an opportunity for Gyamfi to gain more experience at a higher level. The clubs are reportedly in discussions regarding a loan deal, although no official announcement has been made.

Fans of both clubs will be keeping a close eye on this development, as Gyamfi’s potential move could significantly impact the teams’ defensive setup for the season.
