Besiktas defender Daniel Amartey has turned down a lucrative offer from the Saudi Pro League, amid speculations linking him to an exit this summer.
The Ghanian international is subject of a proposed loan deal from an unnamed club who are willing to cover his €1.8 million salary.
A report from Turkish media outlet, Sabah Spor indicate that Daniel Amartey has rejected the move and has opted to stay at the Tupras Stadyumu and fight for his place in the team.
The 29 year old had been on the fringes last season following his underwhelming performances largely due to recurring injuries.
He made 18 appearances in the Turkish League and started only 12 games.
He is however determined to turn his fortunes around and will be looking to stake his claim during preseason.
He joined Besiktas two seasons ago following the expiration of his contract with Leicester City.
