Ghanaian Daniel Owusu seals move to FC Samtredia in Georgia

Ghanaian youngster Daniel Owusu will feature in Georgia after sealing a move to FC Samtredia.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian joins the Georgian club on a permanent deal after ending his stint with Austria giants Red Bull Salzburg.

He began his spell with Red Bull Salzburg in 2021 after joining from Ghanaian club West Africa Football Academy following an impressive performance in the local scene.

But his move brings an end to his time with Red Bull Salzburg where he spent most of his time on loan.

He had several loan spells, featuring for FC Liefering to SV Horn, Vienna, and SKU Amstetten, making 38 appearances across.

Despite not making any appearances for Red Bull Salzburg’s senior team, Owusu left a mark by making five appearances for the club’s youth team during the 2021/22 season.

Now, Owusu embraces a new chapter in his career, embracing the challenges and opportunities awaiting him in Georgia’s football landscape.

He is expected to play a huge role for his new club as they seek to make impact in the league.
