In a groundbreaking move set to reshape the Spanish football scene and massively boost Ghana football, multimillionaire businessman Honourable Prince Tetteh, is on the brink of securing an influential 60% stake in Ourense FC, a football powerhouse based in Spain.

The visionary CEO of Pribet Group of Companies’ strategic acquisition is progressing seamlessly, propelled by the expertise of a distinguished consultancy group comprised of luminaries in the realms of football and law.

Notable figures within this consortium include Mr. Julio Vazquez Dominguez, the esteemed Antonio Nuñez Tena (formerly of Real Madrid and Liverpool fame), and Ms. Laura Vazquez, a prominent football activist and legal luminary representing Mr. Prince Tetteh’s interests.

Mr. Tetteh, a titan in the global business arena, received a warm welcome from the club’s President, Mr. Camilo Diaz over the weekend after talks over the acquisition progressed to the final stages.

During his visit, Mr. Diaz provided an in-depth overview of the club’s operations, guiding Mr. Tetteh through the hallowed grounds of the stadium and the illustrious trophy-laden gallery.

Commending this potential collaboration, Ourense’s Mayor, Mr. Gonzalo Pérez Jácome, expressed optimism about the prospects of increased opportunities for young African talents to join not only Ourense FC but also other teams in Spain and across Europe.

This means with new ownership structure looming, several talented Ghanaian and African players will be given the opportunity to sign with Ourense to get the platform to showcase their talent to the wider European market.

In recognition of Honourable Prince Tetteh’s potential partnership, the community bestowed prestigious awards upon him last week when he visited the city, underscoring the profound impact this collaboration could have on the club.

Additionally, Mr. Augusto César Lendoire, former Deportivo La Coruna President and owner, was invited to witness the unfolding initiatives aimed at elevating and promoting the club.

At the helm of Pribet Group of Companies, a diversified conglomerate with interests spanning construction, civil engineering, security services, multimedia, energy production, fuel importation, agriculture technology, and ICT solutions across Europe and Africa, Mr. Tetteh’s leadership is nothing short of exemplary. His company notably serves as the local partner for Karpower, illuminating the entirety of Guinea-Bissau.

Not merely confined to the corporate realm, His Excellency Tetteh’s dedication to diplomatic service is evident through his appointment as Ghana’s Consular to Guinea-Bissau in 2021 by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Ourense CF, established in 1977 as Ponte Ourense Club de Fútbol, underwent a transformative rebranding in 2014 after the dissolution of CD Ourense.

Competing in Segunda Federación – Group 1 and boasting the impressive Estadio O Couto, capable of hosting 5,659 spectators, the team currently holds the 2nd position in their league table.

This impending collaboration signifies a monumental opportunity for Honourable Prince Tetteh to infuse his business acumen into the club, potentially amplifying the visibility of young African talents in European football—a testament to his ongoing commitment to various sectors.

The acquisition of shares in Ourense FC not only holds promise for mutual growth and development but also signifies a pivotal moment in the evolution of both the club and the broader football community.
