Ghanaian attacker, Patrick Twumasi was on target to help Maccabi Netanya beat Maccabi Tel-Aviv 2-1 in the Israeli top-flight league.
Having struggled to command a consistent starting berths, the 28-year-old was handed one in the Round 22 encounter and he did not disappoint.
After Liran Rotman had opened the scoring for the host close to hour mark, Twumasi doubled the lead with eight minutes left to play.
It was his fourth goal in the Israeli league.
Eran Zahavi reduced the deficit in the 87th minute to set up a nervy end to the match but Netanya held firm for the three points.
This victory moves Maccabi Netanya to the fifth with 30 points on the league table.
