Ghana striker Mahatma Otoo strikes in Sogndal big win over Haugesund in Norway

Ghana striker Mahatma Otoo scored the fourth goal for Sogndal IF who posted a comfortable 4-1 win over Haugesund in the Norwegian top-flight league on Saturday afternoon.

The former Hearts of Oak star cemented the victory with an 83rd minute strike as Sogndal ended their twelve match winless run at the Fosshaugane Campus.

The 22-year-old scored a poacher’s goal after brilliantly volleying past the visitors’ keeper to seal the win before paving way for Joar Tryti in the 94th minute.

Otoo has hit a rich vein of form this season and has scored four goals in his last four games for Sogndal.

Saturday’s strike has taken his league tally to 9 goals in 22 games this season.
