Ghana target Eddie Nketiah came off the bench in the second half to feature for Arsenal in their 2-0 victory over Everton in a pre-season friendly on Saturday night.
Nketiah, 23, watched the first half from the bench as Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus led the attacking lines in a preferred one-top system deployed by manager Mikael Arteta.
The Lewisham-born looked bright and promising in the second stanza as created a host of chances and helped to maintain the attacking shape of the Gunners at the M&T Stadium in Baltimore.
He was rated 7/10 by London Football for his performance. They wrote: “Looked keen to get his goal and shot on sight when he had the opportunity. Used in a two with Pepe and caused some issues for Everton with his movement.”
Arsenal claimed victory thanks to two strikes from Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.
