The Ghana U-15 boys team has concluded their campaign at the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship , securing a bronze medal in the third-place playoff match.
Under the guidance of Coach Kwaku Danso, the team demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination, coming from behind to defeat Uganda 2-1.
This bronze medal marks a historic achievement for Ghana, as it is the country’s first-ever medal in the African School Championship.
Ghana’s participation in the competition is also notable, as it is their first time competing in the tournament after missing the previous two editions.
The match against Uganda was a closely contested affair, with the Eastern African side taking the lead in the early minutes of the game.
Uganda’s breach of Ghana’s defense gave them a 1-0 lead going into the break.
However, the Ghanaian team showed great character and determination in the second half, scoring two goals to secure a 2-1 victory.
