The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season will resume on March 7, 2025.
The league was temporarily halted following the tragic death of Francis Yaw Frimpong, a devoted supporter of Asante Kotoko, during a match.
Police investigation into the incident is ongoing to apprehend the killer named Brimah.
With Kotoko set to return to competitive football after the final funeral rites for Frimpong on March 6, the GPL will pick up where it left off with matchday 23.
Meanwhile, the GFA has rescheduled the outstanding fixtures for matchdays 20, 21, and 22 to take place on March 18-20, April 1-3, and April 15-17, respectively.
