Hearts of Oak secured a 2-1 victory over newly promoted Young Apostles in the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians had recorded consecutive draws against Nations FC and Aduana FC in their previous two matches.
Both teams created scoring chances in the first half, but neither side managed to break the deadlock before the halftime whistle.
Emmanuel Amankwah gave the visitors the lead five minutes into the second half, but Samuel Prempeh equalized six minutes from full time, putting the hosts back in contention.
However, Hamza Issah sealed the win for Hearts of Oak with an 86th-minute strike, securing all three points at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak now sit in 8th place with eight points after six games.
Meanwhile, Young Apostles slipped into the relegation zone with five points.
Their next match is against Accra Lions at the University of Ghana Stadium, while Hearts of Oak will host Dreams FC in week seven.
