Ghana Premier League: Francis Gyetuah first half goal keeps Samartex at summit

Francis Gyetuah first half goal for Samartex FC against Medeama was enough to see them return to the top of the Ghana Premier League standings after week 24 of the ongoing campaign.

Gyetuah scored the only goal in the 37th minute, giving the host all the three maximum points at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.

In the second half, the visitors came closer to get the equaliser but goalkeeper Kofi Baah came to their rescue.

The Timbers also dominated the last 15 minutes with Emmanuel Keyekeh nearly doubled the tally.

Samatex travel to theatre of Dreams in Dawu against Legon Cities while Medeama take on Hearts of Oak at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.
