Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus took part in Ajax’s training on Tuesday as Alfred Schreuder prepared his players for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Napoli.
Kudus, who failed to turn up for training in the days just after the transfer window shut was put through his paces together with his teammates at the club’s training complex.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form this season and netted again for Ajax in their 6-1 defeat to Napoli in the UEFA Champions League last Tuesday.
Kudus gave the Dutch side an early lead but Giacomo Raspadori headed in an equaliser, Giovanni di Lorenzo put Napoli ahead and Piotr Zielinski made it 3-1 just before the break.
Raspadori curled in his second and then set up Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to score.
This was Ajax’s biggest European defeat, their heaviest defeat in any competition since 1964 and their joint largest home loss.
Kudus has scored eight goals and provided one assist in 13 appearances for Ajax across all the competitions.
