Hearts of Oak are searching for a buyer for midfielder Fredrick Ansah Botchway after being deemed surplus to requirement.
The Phobians earlier declared the Ansah together with five other players as surplus to requirement.
Despite the announcement, Hearts have been reluctant to hand the 25-year-old his release letter.
This necessitated the player to vent his frustrations on social media calling on the club to hand him the green light for a move But the club released a statement, providing insight to the situation.
Ansah Botchway, who joined from the Scientific Soccer Lads Liberty Professional in two years ago, was part of the historic Hearts squad that won the treble in 2020-21 season.
