After a horrific 2023 Africa Cup of Nations campaign, Ghana have dropped six places backwards in the latest FlFA World Ranking release on Thursday.
After finishing the year 2023 at the 61st position, Ghana have now seen herself on the 67th position globally and the time falling short on the African continent.
Ghana now occupy the 14th position on the CAF rankings with Cape Verde, South Africa, DR Congo all moving above the four-time AFCON winners.
The changes occurred after Ghana exited from the group stage of the continental showpiece picking up just two points from three games.
Reigning Africa champions, Ivory Coast now sit 39th in the world while 2023 AFCON finalists Nigeria are placed 28th.
The world champions Argentina still topped the chart follow by France, England , Belgium and Brazil.
