Gor Mahia midfielder Enock Morrison has revealed that he was recently contacted by the Football Kenya Federation regarding a potential nationality switch.
According to the former Asante Kotoko star, discussions have already begun, with Kenyan officials reportedly initiating the necessary paperwork.
However, Morrison says he has requested time to reflect and consult with his family before making any decision.
“I’ve been approached by the Kenyan FA to consider naturalising for them. They’ve brought documents to sign, but I’ve told them to hold on so I can consult my family first,”he said.
Despite the approach, the Ghanaian insists his long-term dream is to wear the Black Stars jersey.
“I respect Kenya and the opportunity, but my dream is to wear the Ghana jersey.”
Morrison, who previously featured for King Faisal and Kotoko, joined Gor Mahia in July 2024 and has quickly cemented his place as a key midfielder.
