Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo has stepped up his recovery ahead of his return from a long injury lay-off.
Aidoo raptured his archives tendon while representing the Black Stars of Ghana in an international friendly against Mexico in October last year.
During the match, Aidoo had to be substituted during the first half due to the severity of the injury.
Following a comprehensive assessment by Celta Vigo’s medical team, it was determined that his recovery process will necessitate a minimum of six to seven months.
Despite the challenging circumstances, there is a glimmer of progress in Aidoo’s rehabilitation journey.
The defender has commenced strength work in the pool, marking a step forward in his recovery efforts.
