The coaching vacancy for the Ghana national team has garnered immense interest, with more than 600 coaches from various continents applying for the position, according to local media reports.
The opening arose following the dismissal of Chris Hughton and his entire technical team in the aftermath of Ghana’s disappointing performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The extensive pool of applicants includes coaches from Europe, South America, North America, Africa, and notably, local talents from Ghana.
The influx of applications reflects the widespread interest in leading the Black Stars and steering them towards future success.
The Ghana Football Association is now tasked with the challenging process of evaluating the numerous applications and selecting the ideal candidate to guide the national team.
