The Ghana Football Association will soon name a sucessor of Bernhard Lippert for the Technical Director role, says spokesperson, Henry Asante Twum.
The German stepped down from the job following the expiration of his contract with the Ghana FA.
The country’s football governing body say Lippert has fulfilled his “purpose” which is to “establish a functional technical direcorate”.
In an interview with Accra-based station, Peace FM, Henry revealed the FA’s Executive Council will decide on his replacement in the near future
“I think the executive council will take a decision soon as to who will take over. So far, everything is moving well like always.”
Lippert’s biggest legacy will be the design of the Ghana Football Philosophy, the “DNA” of football which uniquely distinguishes the country’s way of play to others.
