The Ghana Football Association has announced plans to build a 40-bed accommodation facility at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The move is part of the GFA’s World Cup Legacy Project, aimed at improving infrastructure and supporting long-term football development in the country.
At a meeting on Monday, June 9, 2025, the Executive Council reviewed consultant proposals and gave the green light for the next phase of the project.
The facility will be funded using proceeds from Ghana’s participation in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
According to the GFA, the project shows its commitment to reinvesting in the game and creating assets that benefit the national teams and football ecosystem.
Once completed, the new building will enhance the Ghanaman Centre’s capacity to host elite training camps and team management programs.
The centre remains the backbone of Ghana’s technical football development, and the upgrade will further boost its role in nurturing talent.
