Ghana Football Association Review Committee have sanction referee Franklin Akumatey with a ten-match ban following his blunder in BetPawa Ghana Premier League matchday 13 between Bibiani Goldstars and Asante Kotoko.
The match official wrongfully awarded a penalty against Asante Kotoko at the Duns Park in January as the match ended in a 1-1 stalmate.
It is understood the sanction includes consigning Franklin to officiate Division One League matches for the season.
