The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the 2026 Registration Window will close on Sunday, 23 August 2026, at 11:59pm.

With 18 days remaining before the deadline, the GFA has reminded all clubs that their registration processes must be completed within the specified period.

The association has urged clubs to review their outstanding requirements and ensure that all necessary registration matters are finalised before the window closes. The notice places responsibility on each club to complete its submissions and any remaining administrative steps by the stated deadline.

No extension has been announced in the GFA communication. As a result, clubs have been told to work towards completing their registration obligations before 11:59pm on 23 August.

The deadline applies to the 2026 Registration Window and is being highlighted by the GFA with 18 days still available. Clubs are therefore expected to use the remaining time to resolve any unfinished aspects of their registration processes.

The association’s reminder is intended to ensure that clubs do not leave outstanding requirements until the final hours of the window. Any registration work that remains incomplete must be addressed before the deadline set by the GFA.

The GFA has not provided further details in the announcement about individual clubs or specific registration cases. Its message is directed collectively to all clubs and focuses on the need to meet the timetable for the 2026 Registration Window.

Sunday, 23 August 2026, is the final day identified by the association, with the window scheduled to close at 11:59pm. Clubs have been asked to take note of both the date and the exact closing time as they complete their requirements.

The GFA’s communications department issued the reminder as part of the countdown to the end of the registration period. With 18 days to go, clubs have been encouraged to ensure that nothing remains outstanding when the window reaches its deadline.

The association said clubs must complete the relevant registration processes within the stipulated timeframe. Its latest notice therefore serves as a reminder that the remaining period should be used to finalise all pending requirements.

The 2026 Registration Window will remain open until the stated closing time on 23 August. After that point, the deadline set out by the GFA will have passed.

The association has reiterated its call for clubs to complete their registration obligations promptly and avoid waiting until the final moment. All outstanding requirements should be finalised before the window closes at 11:59pm.
