Hearts of Oak have unveiled their official home jersey for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign as the club begins preparations for the new season.

The new strip retains the identity associated with the Phobians while introducing a more contemporary design. It features a predominantly purple base, with prominent red and yellow patterns running across the front of the shirt.

Hearts of Oak’s crest is positioned on the left side of the chest, preserving a familiar feature of the club’s traditional matchwear. The jersey also carries the branding of official kit partner The Hope Brand.

The launch comes as the Accra-based club prepares for a campaign in which it will look to rebuild and challenge more strongly on the domestic stage. Hearts of Oak are aiming to improve on their recent performances and establish greater consistency throughout the season.

The club, also known as the Rainbow Club, has experienced a difficult period in recent campaigns. Its supporters will hope the new season can mark a change in fortunes, with improved results and a renewed challenge for major honours.

The unveiling of the jersey is expected to generate excitement among Hearts of Oak followers, who continue to support the 112-year-old institution. The club is targeting a return to the summit of Ghanaian football and will begin that pursuit with a home fixture against Berekum Chelsea.

That opening match will give Hearts of Oak the opportunity to make an immediate statement in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League. The club will be seeking a strong start as it looks to build momentum and restore confidence after its recent struggles.

The new design combines the colours traditionally associated with Hearts of Oak with patterns intended to give the shirt a modern appearance. Purple dominates the jersey, while the red and yellow detailing provides a sharp contrast across the front.

The presence of the club crest and The Hope Brand logo links the new release to both Hearts of Oak’s established identity and its current commercial partnership. Together, those elements form the official home strip that the club will use during the upcoming campaign.

For supporters, the jersey represents more than the start of a new kit cycle. Its release arrives at a time when expectations are focused on a broader revival, with the club hoping its preparations will lead to more competitive performances in the Ghana Premier League.

Hearts of Oak’s first league assignment will be against Berekum Chelsea at home. As the Phobians prepare for that fixture, the new jersey has become the first visible sign of the club’s plans for the 2026/27 season and its ambition to move back towards the top of Ghanaian football.
