GFA President, Kurt E. S. Okraku, is set to visit the Central Regional Football Association’s Executive Committee at their offices on Friday, 22nd March 2024, at 10 am.
This visit is part of his ongoing engagements with Regional Football Associations following their Executive Committee elections.
President Okraku’s visit aims to facilitate interactions with the newly elected members of the Central RFA Executive Committee and gain insights into the region’s strategic plans for the upcoming three and a half years.
Mr. Robert Duncan, Chairman of the Central RFA, is expected to brief the GFA President on strategic initiatives implemented within the region.
The meeting agenda includes discussions on various topics such as Colts Football, the development of pathways for female players, financial support for the region, and the upcoming finals of the Regional 2nd division playoffs.
President Okraku’s previous visits to Ashanti and Greater Accra RFAs have been successful, enhancing the focus on achieving regional objectives.
In the coming months, President Okraku plans to visit the remaining regions to continue strengthening grassroots football across the country.
Accompanying him will be Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe, the Head of Public Relations and Strategy at GFA, along with Daasebre Adu-Asare, the Regional Football Associations (RFAs) Coordinator.
