GFA President Kurt Okraku to visit Asante Kotoko leadership on Thursday

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku is set to visit Asante Kotoko SC’s leadership on Thursday at the club’s secretariat.

The meeting comes amidst ongoing discussions following the tragic incident at Nana Koramansah Park, where devoted Kotoko supporter Francis ‘Nana Pooley’ Frimpong lost his life during the team’s Ghana Premier League match against Nsoatreman FC

Kotoko has been advocating for justice and accountability, suspending all football-related activities in protest.

“Asante Kotoko SC wishes to inform our supporters and the general public that the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Kurt Okraku, will pay a visit to the club’s leadership on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the club’s secretariat.

“This meeting forms part of ongoing engagements following the tragic events at the Nana Koramansah Park, and we welcome the GFA President’s visit as we continue to seek justice and meaningful reforms for the safety and integrity of Ghanaian football,” Kotoko said in its notice

The club is pushing for comprehensive reforms to ensure the safety and well-being of players, officials, and supporters at football venues across Ghana.
