Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku, has reaffirmed his support for the Black Stars’ technical staff despite a disappointing start to their AFCON qualifying campaign.

Coach Otto Addo and his team have faced intense criticism from football fans following the Black Stars’ poor performances in recent matches.

Ghana suffered a 1-0 loss to Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and before picking up a point against Niger in Morocco during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

“So far, we have started well, and we will continue to give them our utmost support all the way,” Okraku stated on the sidelines of a CAF seminar.

The team will aim to bounce back in October when they face Sudan in a crucial doubleheader.
