The Ghana Football Association has paid GHc 30,000 each to the 48 Division One League clubs as part payment of the GHc 80,000 support that was announced at the last congress in July.

President Simeon-Okraku announced in July this year that each of the 48 Division One League clubs would be supported with an amount of GHc80,000 to cushion them for the 2023/24 season.

This is an improvement from the GHc30,000 that was paid to the clubs in the 2022/23 Football campaign.

The Ghana Football Association has paid One million, four-hundred and forty thousand Cedis (GHc1,440,000) to the 48 Clubs across the three Zones.

The second tier competition has seen a massive improvement in the area of sponsorship, reward packages for participating clubs and remuneration for referees and other officials over the last four years.

The Ghana Football Association will continue to invest in every facet of the industry to take Ghana Football back to the top.
