Skyy FC failed to ensure the safety of players and officials of the visiting team, FC Samartex, as supporters of the home team were seen throwing sand and water at officials of the Away team while they were still in their bus.
Also, supporters of the home team physically assaulted and injured an official (Mr. Paul K Anyaba) of the away team.
The Club stated that it ensured that adequate security is provided at the Match Venue and ensured the safety of the away team.
The Committee hereby makes the following decisions:
1. Fined Six Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc6000)
2. That the GFA shall give Samartex an amount of Two Thousand Cedis(GHc2000) to cater for the hospital expenses of the injured officials and the broken windows of the team bus
2. Banned from playing seven home matches at the St. Martins Park in Daboase.
5. Skyy FC and the club supporters are warned that any future misconduct shall receive a more severe punishment.
During an interview with ghanasportspage.com, the Coach made
allegations against the GFA and the Disciplinary Committee after the Decision on a player(Samuel Osei Kuffour) of your club was published, and stated amongst others that, the GFA and the Disciplinary Committee always treat smaller clubs unfairly and also bend the rules when it’s a small club, a statement you made without proof and brings the game into disrepute.
The Committee hereby makes the following decisions:
1. Kassim Mingle is fined Four Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc4000)
2. The Committee took into consideration the fact that this is the second time Coach Kassim Mingle has been found Guilty of the same offence.
3. Coach Kassim Mingle is warned that any future misconduct shall receive a more severe punishment.
After the match against Inter Allies FC at the Dobro Blue Skies Park, Accra Young Wise FC did fail to ensure the safety of the match officials and players, as a
supporter of your club was seen rushing on the field of play with a metal chair to assault assistant referee 2 (Kingsley Asare).
The Committee hereby makes the following decisions:
1. Fined Three Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc3000)
According to the charge sheet, Steadfast FC failed to ensure the safety of players and officials of the visiting team, Nsoatreman FC, as supporters of the club were seen throwing sachets of water
at Technical staff and players of Nsoatreman FC.
The Cub was also charged as supporters of the club invaded the inner perimeter of the stadium to attack the Technical staff and players of Nsoatreman FC,
keeping them hostage for about one and half hours.
Steadfast argued that it rather used its team bus to convey officials and players of the away team from the Stadium.
1. That the Committee takes judicial notice that from the video recording of the match, it was found that team officials of Steadfast FC were seen coming to rescue of the officials and players of Baffour Soccer Academy.
2. That Steadfast FC fined Three Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc3000)
3. Banned from playing one home match at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
4. The Committee however notes that Steadfast FC has already served a home ban.
5. The Temporary home ban imposed on Steadfast FC is revoked
After the Division One League match against Steadfast FC, Nsoatreman FC made comments through a press release titled “PRESS CONFERENCE: ATTACK ON NSOATREMAN FC BY THE SUPPORTERS OF STEADFAST FC” and stated amongst others that – a northern region club was believed to have been aided by the GFA to qualify for the premier league over Bono and Ahafo club (Bofoakwa Tano).
The Club also stated that the GFA is aiding Tamale City to qualify for the premier league next season
The Club stated that at the said press conference, the Club only recounted its ordeal in Tamale.
The Club referred the Committee to the video recording of the said press conference
