The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has expressed heartfelt appreciation to KGL Group and the KGL Foundation for their outstanding financial and logistical backing of Colts (Juvenile) football over the past five years.

According to an official statement issued on Monday September 29, 2025, the collaboration has combined generous funding with critical equipment; including jerseys, footballs, bibs, cones and other essential supplies to elevate the Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship into one of Ghana’s premier youth competitions.

This support, the Association noted, has helped nurture exceptional young talent, uncover future stars, and lay a strong foundation for sustained development in Ghanaian football.

The GFA highlighted how KGL’s commitment has gone beyond financial contributions, inspiring “hope and opportunity for thousands of aspiring footballers nationwide.” Not only have young players benefitted, but the Catch Them Young Referees programme has also received vital resources, enriching the entire ecosystem of juvenile football.

As the partnership reaches its five-year milestone, the GFA is eager to build on the achievements already made. The Association announced plans for a renewed and enhanced five-year agreement aimed at deeper investment in youth development and broader football initiatives to “propel Ghana football to even greater heights.”
