Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku has heaped praise on Kwesi Nyantakyi for leading the country to three consecutive FIFA World Cups.
The longest serving FA capo aided Ghana to secure its maiden Mundial appearance in 2006 in Germany, 2010 in South Africa and 2014 in Brazil respectively
Speaking at the launch of a Talent Identification Programme, Kurt Okraku lauded Nyantakyi for all that he has chalked for the Black Stars during his tenure in office.
“Let me say ‘ayekoo’ to our former president, Nyantakyi who took Ghana to the world in 2006, 2010, and 2014,” he said.
“If we understand what it means to be at the Mundial, we will give Kwesi Nyantakyi a standing ovation”.
Ghana will be making her fourth appearance at the global tournament scheduled later this year in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
Ghana has been housed in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.
