Ghana’s Black Stars secured a resounding 5-0 victory over Chad in their 2026 World Cup Qualifier match on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Antoine Semenyo opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, followed by Inaki Williams in the 30th minute and Jordan Ayew’s penalty kick in the 35th minute, ending the first half 3-0.
Ghana continued its dominance in the second half, with Mohammed Salisu scoring a header from Ernest Nuamah’s corner kick in the 56th minute.
Nuamah sealed the win with the fifth goal, securing a 5-0 triumph.
The win propels Ghana to the top of Group I with 12 points from five matches.
They will face Madagascar in their next match on Monday in Morocco.
