Frederick Asare wins Goalkeeper for the Month for December

Asante Kotoko shot stopper Fredrick Asare named Ghana National Ex. Goalkeeers Union Award for December.

Fredrick Asare was nominated alongside, Obeng S. Gregory of Berekum Chelsea, goalkeeper Kofi Baah of FC Samartex 1996 and Legon Cities Kwame Aziz.

He was pronounced winner after an impressive performance helping his side end the month with an unbeaten record by keeping 4 clean sheets, 4 wins, 1 draw and conceding 2 goals in 5 league matches in December.

Benjamin Asare of Accra Great Olympics won the October award with Bofoakwa Tano’s Emmanuel Kobi winning the November award.

He will receive a set of gloves and a jersey from the National Goalkeepers Union (NGU).
