Former Hearts of Oak defender Larry Sumaila harbours dream of playing for EPL giants Chelsea

Former Hearts of Oak defender Larry Sumaila has set sights on playing for English Premier League giants Chelsea.

The enterprising right-back who is without a club after being released by Hearts of Oak in an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM reiterated his desire to play for Chelsea despite being a fan of Real Madrid.

“It is the dream of every player to play abroad. Though I’m fan of Real Madrid but it is my dream to play for Chelsea in England” he said.

The right-back was part of the couple of players released by the reigning MTN FA Cup winners ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

On Tuesday, the Phobians released, Frederick Ansah Bocthway, William Dankyi, Manaf Umar, Kofi Kordzi, and Patrick Razak with Larry Sumaila no exception.
