Former Ghanaian defender, Samuel Inkoom, is set to launch his football agency, named ‘S-Inkoom Football Management Agency,’ in Accra on October 28, 2023.
Inkoom, who previously played for Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, invited the Youth and Sports Minister, Ussif Mustapha, to the agency’s official launch, and the invitation was accepted.
Minister Ussif praised Inkoom’s transition into this new career path, recognizing the potential for him to contribute to the development and promotion of football in Ghana. Inkoom parted ways with Hearts of Oak before the 2023/24 season after a brief one-and-a-half-year stint.
Inkoom left Ghana in 2009 to pursue opportunities abroad, contributing to Asante Kotoko’s league title win. He returned to Ghana in early 2022 after a 13-year spell abroad, playing for 11 clubs, including Swiss club Basel and Ukraine’s FC Dnipro.
Inkoom was a part of Ghana’s U-20 World Cup-winning squad in Egypt in 2009 and went on to represent the Black Stars in the 2010 and 2014 World Cups held in South Africa and Brazil, respectively.
